Oooh, this pisses me off. If you are signed up with Yahoo for anything they have given themselves permission to give your address to spammers. They've set up a "marketing preferences page" and defaulted all choices to "yes."
Yes, fill my in-box porn-site come-ons! Yes call me at home with exciting offers for earning millions $$$ at home in my spare time! Yes! I need to hear much more about debt consolidation, herbal viagra and penis enlargement!
To get off the list you have to sign on to the site and reset all your options on this page. Which I did. Then I canceled all dealings with these evil swine. I will never venture near them ever again. They are forthwith deleted from "favorites."
What's worse, the on-line privacy "watchdog" Truste signed off on this abuse.
Meanwhile, the spam that gets past my filters has doubled.
Don't trust Yahoo no more. Don't trust Truste no more.
