Martinez's first round of attack ads sounds pretty underwhelming.
Apparently he's using an off-the-shelf, generic attack on a group hardly anyone has heard about. Sure, it didn't work for former Senator Tim Hutchinson, but it's lots easier than talking about, you know, schools, health care, Medicare and jobs, boring stuff like that.
This hardly sounds like radical, far-out group -- The council opposes what it considers waste, pork-barrel spending or ineffective weapons systems, including the ``Star Wars'' missile defense system and others.
It favors more spending on weapons it considers necessary and effective, including body armor, heavily armored Humvees, and aircraft defense systems in Iraq and Afghanistan.
A pretty lame warm-up.
