Selling slots
Jim Horne, who used to be state ed commission and a leading advocate of vouchers with minimal state oversight, is now a paid shill for slot-machine gambling in Florida. He says it will raise money needed for education. The same sales pitch another former ed commissioner used to sell the Florida Lottery. Will Floridians believe that twice?
