Florida dangerous for bicyclists
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a report on cycling deaths in 2004 (PDF).
Two highlights:
+ Florida was first 1st among the state in bicycling fatalities, with 122. (California was 2nd.)
+ Florida ranked 1st in "pedalcyclist fatalities per million population") with 7.01. The national average was only 2.47.
